November is here! Fall is in full force and the holidays are right around the corner. Can you hear the Christmas music already?  These last few months of the year are all about family and those you love. Spend time with those you love with these fun events going on in Tualatin this month. There is everything from a Holiday Auction and Dinner to AM Networking Events!

 

  • Cirque du Holiday Auction and Dinner

  • Book Babies

      • Join us for a special storytime designed specifically for babies 0-12 months and their caregivers. It’s never too early to start building the foundation for future literacy!  This interactive storytime stimulates your baby’s language development through songs, rhymes and reading. Afterwards, caregivers can socialize while the babies play.
    • Art Lab – Ages 6+
      • Tuesday, November 28th, 2017
      • 4 PM to 5 PM
      • Repeats every month on the fourth Tuesday.
        • Draw inspiration from the featured artist or art technique of the month. Oversized T-shirts will be provided to help protect clothing. October, we will be exploring pointillism, art created solely from distinct small dots of color. November, we will be exploring Dada collage, a rebellious art movement that redefined the meaning of art and its role in societal commentary. Free for Ages 6 and up in the Library Community Room.

 

 

  • Movie Making on iPads – Grades 4 to 8

      • In this four-week program, kids and teens write, act, and create their own mini-movie ending in a community viewing the night of Friday, December 1. Free for Grades 4 – 8 in the Library Community Room.
