September is here! Fall is near, the kids are going back to school and we are all getting back into our routines. September brings a sense of order and regimen, and as much as we all love our regimens, it’s important to enjoy ourselves too! Check out some fun events going on in Tualatin this month. There’s everything from Irish Folk dancing lessons to Networking breakfasts!

  • Fall Storytime at The Tualatin Public Library – Starting September 11th
    • Toddler Storytime Ages 2 years – 3 years      
      Short stories and action rhymes for tots on the go.
      Mondays @ 10:30-11:30am
    • Book Babies Storytime Ages 0 – 12 months
      Bounces and tickles for pre-walkers.
      Mondays @ 11:30-12:30pm
    • Family Storytime All Ages
      Stories and songs for the whole family.
      Tuesdays @ 10:30-11:30am
    • Tiny Tots Storytime Ages 12 months – 2 years
      Movement rhymes and songs for new walkers.
      Tuesdays @ 11:30-12:30pm
    • Preschool Storytime Ages 3 years – 5 years
      An alphabet adventure for the preschool set.
      Thursdays @ 1-2pm
    • Saturday Family Storytime All Ages
      Stories and songs for the whole family.

  • WINe After Hours – Nutrition and Women’s Health
    • September 14th, 2017
    • 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
    • Join us for an evening cooking class lead by Dr. Kim Guthrie, Body in Balance Wellness Center.
    • WIN meets monthly and alternates between luncheons and evening mixers. Chamber members share their expertise and experiences along with building great relationships for growing their business. We all like to do business with those that we know like and trust.

 

  • Weekly Irish Folk Dance Lessons
    • Every Thursday – 7:00 PM – 9:00PM
      • Winona Grange #271, 8340 SW Seneca St. Tualatin, OR 97062
      • Who: Sam Keator teaching and calling the traditional dances. This is our 10thyear in Washington County sharing the Irish Culture.
      • Cost: 13 & older, $5 per week. This is a drop-in class. Dress in layers and bring your water bottle.

 

  • Big Eddy Tap House 2 Year Anniversary
    • September 22nd, 2017
    • Time: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
      • Come out to Big Eddy Tap House to help them celebrate their 2-year Anniversary here in Tualatin!
