October is here! Summer has come and gone and Fall is officially here! With cooler weather and rain on the forecast it’s easy to want to stay home but with these fun Fall events in October you may just think twice. There is everything from Haunted Walking Tours to Business After Hours!


  • Vancouver Farmers Market
    • Saturdays- 9AM-3PM
    • Sundays- 10AM-3PM
    • Downtown at W. 6th and Esther St. Vancouver, WA 98660
      • The Vancouver Farmers Market is a family and pet friendly place to spend the day, right next to beautiful Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver. You’ll discover fresh produce, plants and flowers, baked goods, delicious food, unique accessories for yourself, home, or garden and a lot more.


  • Haunted Walking Tours
    • Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM
    • Clark County Historical Museum
      • Centering on the strange and peculiar, these haunted excursions blend local myths, oral histories, and research on Vancouver’s sometimes sordid past. Buildings contain secrets, and we shine the light into their darkness. The museum itself plays a role in several accounts of mysterious activities occurring in the research library.


  • Business After Hours at the Sparks Building

      • Business After Hours (BAH) is GVCC’s monthly gathering, bringing great food, unique locations, and friendly, outgoing members of the local business community together for one big hoorah. BAH is all about starting and growing business relationships. You’ll get a chance to meet business and community leaders, see the inside workings of sponsoring member businesses, and enjoy incredible cuisine and beverages. You’ll even have a chance to win door prizes, so make sure and bring plenty of business cards!

  • Ready, Set, Go! Wellness Workshop Series: Tips to Combat Computer Fatigue

      • Mondays will be an indoor session where you can expect to learn biomechanically correct running technique, how to strengthen and fortify your body to make you are resilient runner. Saturdays, take what you have learned outdoors where you will work on technique and fine tuning your running skills! Running is a skill which requires strength, stability, and proper technique.

  • Bootacular Halloween Event
    • Tuesday, October 31st, 2017

    • City Hall – 415 W. 6th Vancouver, WA 98660
      • Guests 12 years old and younger are invited to trick-or-treat at their favorite participating Vancouver Mall stores. After bags are filled, spook-tacular Halloween themed games and crafts will continue the fun on the lower level of H&M Court.
